Chapter #6

A Hero

You slow the time down as the car skid towards Bruno. You charged at him with full force. It felt like you hit a brick wall. The two of you tumled onto the ground then took off as the car hit the other Bruno's car. You ran back to Jack, who was staring at the event. You snapped time back to normal.

You and Jack ran towards the incident as the other students did. Burno was geting up off the ground and looked at the two cars. Bruno was swearing up a storm as the teachers came to check out the scene.

"Are you alright," you called.

Bruno looked at you and nodded. He was trying to figure out what happened. The teachers started asking all the students what happened. It was the same stories: One second Bruno was standing at the spot where the car hit and the next second, Bruno was on the ground and the car missed him.

All the students headed back to the class. As you started back to class, Bruno stopped you.

"Hey, thanks for asking if I was alright. I can't beleive what happened. I thouht I was dead for sure," Bruno said.
