Laura has an entire person about her size inside her stomach. Her stomach is accordingly bulging out, riding her shirt up and unbuttoning the loose button at the top of her short shorts. It is immensely heavy, and she cannot lift it the way Kiki had previously stood up and shook her stomach. Laura's not the dumbest cookie, and concludes that, like many things, she probably needs experience in order to be able to stand and walk around with that much food in her belly.
She slides herself across the ground to put her back against a wall of the hallway. Looking down the blue-and-white tiling, she sees an award cabinet at the T-intersection of one end and a corkboard filled with flyers at the T-intersection at the other end. The hallway is a bridging hallway between two much longer ones, though apparently neither of them are much traveled either. And then she sees the signs above the doors along her hall--Winter Sports Administrative Offices. She's in a section of the school that's not in much use at the beginning of the school year, during the last week of August. She lucked out in terms of a place to turn into an immobile sack.
She suddenly feels a kick in her stomach, which means that Havon must not be completely winded anymore. From what she gathered, he needs to be kept tired or else he'll be able to teleport. Well, there's one way to do that.
Laura punches her stomach. And then she takes her fist and pounds on top of it. It doesn't hurt her too much, as it definitely makes contact with his body inside instead. A very muffled, "Aaaahhh! Ow!" comes from her stomach, quiet enough that she's sure no one else will hear him. She continues to occasionally beat at her own stomach every minute or so as she sits there.
