Chapter #5

Stay or go

Lulu pondered a moment before replying to Tidus.

"Perhaps not on this occasion little guardian."

Tidus nodded and turned to leave.

"Tidus."

Tidus turned and looked back at the ice cold expression on Lulu's face.

"It seems you have a wound on your upper arm."

Tidus marveled at her amazing perception in picking it so simply, as the cut was almost completely covered by his uniform.

"Oh this? yeah just a scratch, nothing to worry about." Tidus replied confidently.

"In anycase, allow me to heal it before you depart." Lulu replied, with no change in her tone or expression.

Tidus waited a moment; he had always liked to be friends with Lulu, never given the chance to know her properly before a barrier seemed to appear between them. If this could in someway improve their standing with each other, then Tidus was all for it.

"Er ok Lulu, thanks."

Lulu gave only a small smile then raised herself off her chair, her dark dress still cascading the floor around her feet. Raising her hand previously behind her back above her head, with a swishing motion across Tidus' upper body the spell was cast. Only the smallest of lights was produced from the spell, but in it's wake was left the body of a 2 inch tall guardian.

Tidus had allowed the warmth of the healing spell to engulf him, and his dwingling stature was unknown to him. He opened his eyes to a familiar dark view, but nothing seemed familiar anymore. Just as he had opened his mouth to thank Lulu, his vision gradually returned, bestowing him with the glorious sight of the beautiful black mage, seemingly hundreds of feet tall.

Lulu had been frightened a moment when the spell seemed to make Tidus disappear, but as her eyes fell on the dwingling light on the ground, which soon faded to show the tiny guardian's body, her eyes widened. The power this spell controlled seemed magnificent, and as her mind wafted with ambition and creative uses, her mind also found jealousy; this spell was to remain hers alone, and it seemed to have only a one way function. Tidus may well be stuck at his stature, and anybody finding him would certainly conclude magic did the deed. Unless she could find an anti-thesis to this shrinking spell, Tidus was not to meet eyes with another soul.

As her mind made up, Lulu's gaze lowered again to the tiny guardian, whos eyes had now met hers and showed a look of total horror.

"L... Lulu...?" Tidus stammered, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

"Well hello there tiny guardian. It seems you've served as a perfect test subject for this spell. In any case, i'm afraid these tests have to remain secret, so i guess you won't be attending that festival after all then."

Lulu broke into a smirk, unable to resist the urge of control she was feeling. Anticipating he would soon turn to run, Lulu's hand swooped down and grasped Tidus firmly around his waist. She raised him up to her eyes and studied him carefully.

"Remarkable", Lulu continued, "You do seem to be in a perfectly healthy state, regardless of the spell's effects."

Tidus was squirming fruitlessly in the giant mage's grip, but Lulu hardly noticed nor cared.

Lulu's trance was broken when she heard footsteps entering her hut again. Hurridly thinking Lulu forced the tidy guardian down the front of her dress and assumed her seat at the table again.

"Lulu?"

Lulu turned to see Yuna standing at the door.

"Hello Yuna, what is it you want?" Lulu replied, forming an impeccably straight face despite the struggling captive in her cleavage.

"I believe Tidus came by asking if you wished to join us for a festival." Yuna asked, no element of suspicion or accusation in her voice.

"Yes he did come past earlier, but he left quickly. Said he had urgent business in Luca i believe." Lulu calmed responded.

Yuna seemed mildly distressed at the news, "business? well what with? was he ok?"

"He seemed perfectly alright to me. I'm sure he will return in due time Yuna, do not worry yourself." Lulu consoled.

Yuna was not to be calmed so easily though, "I will go to Luca to find him, it's not like him to leave so quickly. Please come with us, we may need a lot of help."

Lulu was gritting her teeth, fighting off the wave of pleasure still emersing from the figure flailing in her dress. She felt warm yet somewhat irritable, and spending several days under the watchful eyes of other guardians whilst concealing a captive in her dress was not appealing to her.

"Yuna i'm afraid i must stay, business implores me so. Besides, you will make better time with fewer number."

The stalemate held for a second; Yuna could not get the thought of Tidus in danger from her mind, and longed to search for him, whereas Lulu had the summoner's love-interest squirming between her adequate breasts and was looking mainly for solitude. Soon enough though, the situation came to a close....
