Sonic, as usual, was in the middle of fighting one of Eggman's robots. "What the heck? And I thought you were starting to catch up!" Sonic laughed as the large robot's sluggish movement allowed him to just /WALK/ out of the way.
"Oh will you just be quiet!?" Eggman snapped. Sonic rolled his eyes. "It's an old one. I'm trying to give it one last chance to avoid being reduced to scrap metal."
"Sheesh. A little harsh, isn't it? But hey, either way, I'm losing." Sonic laughed.
"What?! How are /you/ LOSING!!!!!?"
"It's so SLOW!! I'm getting /REALLY/ bored! I mean, normally, I have to move fast to keep from getting shot, but this thing's so slow I hardly even have to walk!!! I'm not getting my usual end of the fun."
Eggman gave Sonic an annoyed groan. "Right now, I'm thinking the same."
"Heh. Not very common, is it? Us agreeing on something. But hey, if ya' fixed him up a bit, this would be at least a little more fun." Eggman nodded and they both sighed. "Hey, Eggy, how long do ya' think it's gonna take for it to make a turn?"
"We'll find out in a minute. Well, if you're bored, you could help me turn it into scrap metal."
Sonic noticed that something in the back of the machine was starting to open, and a green light could be seen starting to come through. "Umm…can ya' turn it off? I think it's gonna burst if ya' don't." Sonic said nervously, taking a step back. A sudden beam shout out from the back of the machine, hitting Sonic directly in the stomach. " AH!!!!!!" Sonic cried, being flung through the air by the mere energy of the beam. Eggman laughed at this. "Ugh…why do I feel so weird? Almost… sick?" Sonic groaned. Eggman laughed a little louder. "I'm not joking. Quit laughing at me already. I feel like I'm gonna vomit." Eggman laughed harder, only to wind being grabbed in a huge, white fist. "I said quit laughing."
Eggman looked up in awe at how much Sonic had just grown after having been shot. "What in the-?"
"I'm gonna have Tails help me out. Mind if I take that? Of course you don't. Thanks. Bye." Sonic said weakly as he grabbed the robot, set Eggman down, and walked away. He began heading to Tails's workshop, which wasn't that far away.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
