The schoolyard

The shadow slinks along the walls and bushes of Main Street, heading towards the school. There should be lots of children to scare there. It hesitates, the sun is bright here and the cover isn't as thick. Just a few feet away, the bushes are thicker and the shadow makes a run for it, getting into cover just in time. The schoolyard is in sight, the kids playing happly with each other, but not for long....
