Rum is fairly easy to come by but it is costly. That witch sure knew what she was doing, making you love rum.

Johnny and Orlando like rum too, ahem!

If this were a pirate's story, you'd fit right in.

There are pirates around, by the way, so if you have trouble finding rum, just find a pirate. I'm sure he'd be kind enough to direct you to the proper tavern.

You have 10,000 coppers (which are like pennies) and 681 silvers. Rum cost 1 silver a mug or 175 coppers plus 85 coppers. In other words, 1 silver 85 coppers or 260 coppers.
