You start walking down to the left, following the stream's current. Ahead of you there is a small pond overgrown with plants and with flies buzzing around it. Without even stepping close you can see that much of the ground before you is soft and treacherous to walk on so you'll need to be careful where you step.
As you near the water's edge you can see guppies and other small marine animals swimming about at high speeds looking for nutrition in the rich environment. The plants above water consist of lily pads and some water plants with large stalks that you can't identify while underwater there are many soft looking leaves just swaying with the current and giving some shelter for the small fish there. The water has a yellow-ish tint to it making it seem more alive.
After observing the water for a few more minutes you figure that you should get going. The stream ends at this little pond and so you could walk around it to reach the other side, while on the other hand you could continue in the same direction further down into the forest.
