Doubt begins to enter your mind. Maybe choosing the sword wasn't such a good idea. What if you encounter a person with a gun?
You react too late and the other two weapons disappear along with the desk they were sitting on.
You take a moment to glance at your newly acquired weapon. It appears sharp and of a a good length for your size. If it was longer you couldn't control it, but if it was shorter it would be useless.
"PING!" A monitor is now protruding out of the wall. As you approach it two buttons appear beneath the wall and you see words are begining to display across the screen.
"Now that you have chosen the Sword you can modify it with some different abilities."
Maybe choosing the sword wasn't so bad afterall.
Option Left:your sword can sharpen itself with every strike you take at a foe and it can contain magical forces that will control the enviroment around you.
Option Right:your sword can work like that function of a yo-yo where-as you can fling it at you foe and retrieve it without moving. Also your sword will contain the power to freeze time.
Wow! Well maybe having a sword that will only become sharper and contain magical powers will be more usefull than a yo-yo sword that can stop time. Will I be able to sharpen my sword? Can I upgrade it again later? How powerful are the magical forces? How many other people have these swords?
"BEEP!" A timer begins to countdown from 10 in the corner of the screen.
"BEEP!" Nine.
Better choose fast.
"BEEP!" Eight.
Oh, no!
"BEEP!" Seven.
I never was good with pressure
"BEEP!" Six.
Well, uh...
"BEEP!" Five.
Darn it!
"BEEP!" Four.
The left button?
"BEEP!" Three.
The right button?
"BEEP!" Two.
Better choose now!
"BEEP!" One.
