"Hah!" comes from your left and you see a gray blur pounce on the catwoman, pinning her to the ground. When the tumbling mass of fur stops you see a grinning creature, similar to the catwoman but with a wolf head laying on top of the helpless feline.
"See, told ya!"
The owner of that last utterance walks into view, though 'walk' is not quite the right word. The creature is for all intents and purposes a four foot tall squid. The body is less than two foot tall, the rest is made up of the tentacles it uses to 'walk' on. Although it looks like a squid it has a faintly human face on it's body about a third of the way up it's long length. Two eyes, each with two, jet black ovoid pupils. A lidless rubbery mouth. Above that is a slit or flap that would seem to be a nose... maybe.
"Got her for ya' Mervin." the wolf thing says.
"Hmm, I can see that Arnold. I'm not blind! Huh, you really are a pain. Three escapes this week! It's just getting too much to handle lass."
