Isabelle heads to the castle to clean up.

After Isabelle departed Daniel fell into a trance; the evil sorcerer Radigan found him an easy target to do as he bid.
Isabelle began to walk toward the castle but changed her mind. She turned around and climbed down a steep embankment to a path below. She found it a pleasant path, one that bore a smooth walking surface.
Little did she realize that she had embarked upon a journey by way of a path that never existed before that very hour. She liked the journey so well that she never questioned her surroundings.
She walked for a number of steps before she felt the pull upon her conscience ease; she had been a bit anxious when she realized that she had actually turned away from obedience to indulge her desire.
However after only a short while she could continue her adventure without the slightest hint of doing wrong.
The path led her to an adorable cottage. She desired to go inside so she entered by way of the nicely carved and brightly painted door at the front of the dwelling.
It was a few minutes before her eyes adjusted to the dim light inside. A voice stirred curiosity within her and, she strained to hear the voice again.
“Daniel,” she called out, “is that you, Daniel?”
It was Daniel; he was transformed to the cottage so that Radigan could get the information he desired through deceit and plodding against the Kings trusted daughter.
“Isabelle, it is me. I have wanted to talk with you for some time now…can you help me with a problem?”
“I guess I have time. I found this cottage along the path and it looked so inviting that I just had to stop and rest awhile.”
“Isabelle, I need to know if you will bring me something from your father? You will have to be careful and not let him know about it. Do you think you can do this for me? My life depends upon this item you must fetch.”
“I don’t know, Daniel, I can’t betray my father and mother, if that is what you are asking me.”
“No, that is not my wish.”
Isabelle turned at that moment for she felt coldness running along her back side…
