"Damn that Victoria!"
Bob was literally fuming. Hailey wanted to defend Victoria, but she was feeling Bob's frustration as well. Now they were going to have to find a new volunteer. Brett had seemed their best hope, but Victoria had scared him away after one of her animal rights tirades. Finding another volunteer was going to be an almost hopeless venture, especially with Brett abandoning the project in such a dramatic fashion. Gossip was probably spreading even as they stood here. And the protocols set down by the company prevented either Hailey or Bob from being the test subject. Hailey and Bob discuss the matter, and decide to...
