Longing for him

You are a young woman from the middle ages who is supposed to marry a older man, a marquis. You are pissed off because you are in love with somone else, but because your father wants a higher status, he's marrying you to the marquis.
It is the night before your wedding, and all you want to do is see the one you love one last time.
Since his estate is far away from yours, you decide to work a little magic. You take the lock of hair your love has given to you, and dip it into a silver bowl of water. After reciting a spell, your reflection vanishes, and in it's place:
