Time passed, Goku was over an hour late. Chichi was brimming with anger. The nerve of her careless husband, she had worked so hard preparing this grand feast only to be left waiting alone.
"That inconsiderate dope! I should just eat all of this dinner and leave him nothing!"
A knock was heard at the door. Chichi got up to answer it confused at who it was. Goku wouldn't knock to get into his own house. Chichi opened the door to reveal Bulma
"Um Hello Chichi."
"Oh Bulma I was expecting my deadbeat husband." Chichi spoke with a hint of irritation.
"Um yeah about Goku, thing is you see.." Bulma struggled to tell the now widowed Chichi of the events that took place that afternoon. How could she gently break the news that her husband is dead, her son was abducted by a green man, and alien warriors are coming to destroy the earth in one year.
"You know I cooked this huge dinner for him and he doesn't show up." Chichi points Bulma to the full spread on the table.
"Oh wow." Bulma uttered surprised by the size of the supper despite being an affluent woman.
"I bet he took Gohan camping or something. I'll just eat this entire feast and leave them nothing." Chichi picked up a slab of meat and fiercely bit it. "Yeah I'll make sure there'll be nothing left. Not one crumb."
Chichi began feverishly shoveling food in her mouth." Nomph Let's see how GULP Goku likes this! munch munch."
"Um Chichi you see Goku is dea-"
"Huh? Feel free and have some if you want." Chichi cut off Bulma hospitably offering her food.
"Sure" Bulma said unable to break the news to Chichi.
Bulma took a modest serving of pasta. "Hey don't hold back Bulma. Remember Goku gets none of this." Chichi said piling on more pasta on Bulma's plate. "Eat! C'mon Eat up." Chichi urged the green haired girl.
Chichi furiously consumed the feast as Bulma helped constantly urged on by an angry Chichi. The two girls ate and ate, inflating their bellies. Luckily for Bulma she was wearing the same blue top she wore at the reunion.
"Ugh I've never eaten so much in my life." Bulma moaned unbuttoning her white shorts.
"Yeah but it was worth it, now Goku will have to go hungry." Chichi smirked.
Laying there breathing heavily, Bulma finally managed to tell Chichi what transpired.
