Trevor finds Eliza on the floor, unconscious up...

Only two things prevented the wooden floor from being bare: the glass pieces, and her unconscious body.

She laid there, tilted half to the side and her legs in an awkwardly twisted position. Her short skimpy dress was half torn and she had bruises on her left shoulder, neck and chest and a swollen lip. Fresh blood was flowing from her mouth, indicating that she is just recently been abused.

Trevor stood there for what seemed to be an eternity, panting and in shock. As soon as he got back his senses, he rushed to her, knelt down to check her breath.

"Thank God!" he sighed as he felt slow breaths of air being exhaled from her nose.

So many times, he had left her in this position that it was almost hard for him to find her in this position from before. He panicked. Looked around to make sure there is no one there.
