heard a famillar yet mysterious voice

Lizzy ran up to Trevor and grabbed his hand before he could hit Mike with a steel watering can.
"NO!" she yelled. Trevor's eyes widened and he dropped the watering can. He knew that voice. He had talked to her before. Where he couldn't remember, but he remembered this voice and what it said to him...
FLASHBACK
Trevor spent most of his night talking to this beautiful woman, he nearly lost track of time. When he finally looked at his watch he had realized that he was going to be late for an outing he had planned with his friends. With work being swamped, he hadn't spent much time with them so he owed them this get-together.
He stood up from the stool and extended his hand.
"I'm afraid I must go now. I have had a great night talking to you. Goodbye."
She looked up at him with those pool blue eyes. They were showing sincerity. She stood up and smiled at him. She slowly wrapped her arms around him to hug him. She said in a mysterious manner, "It is never goodbye for our paths may cross again sometime."
And with that, Trevor left.
END FLASHBACK
He whirled around quickly. Sure enough, there she was, those eyes staring at him with a flash of anger and hurt. He had forgotten all about Mike standing there. Forgotten about what he was about to do. There was something about this girl that was strange to him, almost as if she gave off warning signals.
