You watch a popular, busy drama.

Ah, Sex in the city, the new series.

This would be perfect with some ice cream and cookies, you decide. But you don't want to miss the beginning. You sit down to watch, so into the show that when the commercial comes on you want to scream. Then you think, snack time. You get up to go into the kitchen and notice the huge mess you made from your earlier indulgence. You groan. "Forget it, too much energy." You walk to the freezer, grab the butter pecan ice cream, then bump the freezer closed with your elbow. You slide on your white socks, over to the cabinet and pull down the chip ahoy cookies. Then you see the microwave popcorn on the counter with extra butter and your mouth water. "Umm... I love popcorn," you assure yourself. You pop it into the microwave, press the button indicated for popcorn and then you hear your show has come back on and run to the den and plop down in front of the entertainment center.

Two minutes into the show, you hear the microwave beeper go off. You look at the spoon in your hand and decide it's too much work to get up right now, but now you're thirsty. And again, those damn annoying commercial's are back on. You roll off the couch, so very stuffed and wobble to the kitchen for a cola, then the popcorn aroma hits you and you can't deny yourself just a few pieces. You grab the bag out the microwave, the two liter cola and a glass and scurry back to the living room, only to pause midway of sitting down because of the damn door bell rings again.

You slam your goods on the coffee table and storm to the door ready to yell at the intruder, only be struck silent by your ex standing in the door way looking like angel from heaven.
