Not noticing her overeating

Today was the best day for Sam Puckett. Not only was school cancelled for the summer, today the shipment of her monthly supply of fat cakes would arrive. Sam hungrily awaited at the couch while eating a fried chicken leg. She hadn't really moved from the spot since Carly went to visit her father in the Navy and she didn't want to be bothered with Freddy or Gibby.

She had just sat their, spending her days watching television and eating non stop. Following the commercial break was a ring of the doorbell. Sam sighed and heaved herself up to answer. Of course she had not noticed her 50 pund weight gain, with the execption of her roundish belly, and jiggling arms and legs. She peered from the eyewhole and opened the door to see.
