Suddenly a knock was heard at the door, causing Steph to start. She slammed down the phone, and gracefully rose to her feet secretly pitying the poor fool who dared interrupt her at this moment. She walked to the door and was about to start into a tirade as she opened the door regarding her displeasure at this interruption but stopped immediately when she saw her father standing there.
"Oh.." She said "What do you want?"
Relationships between Stephanie and her father had been very tense lately, just like her relationship with almost everybody she knew in fact. This was because since Mr. McMahon had given his daughter a high up role in his business, she had done everything in her power to undermine him and sneakily try to steal the business from under him. Once again however Stephanies arrogance had blinded her, because she didn't think her father knew of her plans, thinking herself to be a much better business woman than she actually was. But of course Mr. McMahon was more than aware of her plans, and had been for months.
