Most of the class now became preoccupied with conjuring up theories as to what had happened to their Potions Professor, as well as arguing about what to do next. They were all much too engulfed in their heated discussions to notice the furious little man on the floor. The only one who was now seemingly unaffected by all the commotion was Ron, who was still leaning against the table, quite satisfied with his verdict. Much to Snape's annoyance, Ron therefore seemed to be his best option at the moment.
"Well, here goes." Snape muttered to himself between clenched teeth, and warily started to approach Weasley's left foot. "WEASLEY!! RON WEASLEY, LOOK DOWN!" Snape bellowed.
It was apparent, though, that the room was much too noisy, and Snape much too tiny, for Ron to possibly hear him. With a scoff Snape made up his mind, and despite the danger of being crushed should someone move their foot his way, he marched over to Ron's left shoe. Luckily, the laces on Ron's shoe were long enough for the tiny Potions Master to reach, and so he prepared himself to start the climb.
