Rouge, perched on the side of a building, admired a piece of jewelery she had recently aquired through 'creative means.' It was a rare, red-colored diamond the size of her fist, worth a fortune. She had taken a great risk to get it, and on top of that, she had done a good deed in the process as well. The gemstone had been slated for use in a weapon Robotnik wanted to use to destroy Station Square. She stole it before he did, and when he showed up, he took the blame for stealing it.
Granted, she hadn't INTENDED to do a good deed, she just wanted the gem and didn't know what Robotnik had planned to begin with. But she'd take her good karma where she could get it. Aside from that, she now had an excuse to keep the pretty, pretty gem hidden in her private collection.
Giggling, she took off, flying towards her penthouse apartment, set near the beach. She flew in through the window and landed with a roll. She opened a secret panel on the wall and placed it in, the gem glistening next to the other gemstones she had.
She closed the door and sighed, pleased with herself for a job well done, when she was suddenly struck with a tremendous hunger pain.
Rouge winced, clutching her stomach, and frowned. She had NEVER been this hungry before. She was so hungry, she felt she could eat a whole Mobian in one gulp.
For some reason, this thought appealed to her, and she began to drool. She quickly shook the feeling off. That couldn't be right, could it? No, she just needed something normal to eat...
