Peach suddenly put a smile on her face. She just couldn't believe her luck that she had come across a Mega Mushroom just like that. Mega Mushrooms were just like Super Mushrooms, only the growth effect was more powerful and the effects lasted a shorter time. But Peach knew that was only on party boards. There was no telling what they would do in a normal place like the Mushroom Kingdom.
Peach took herself and the mushroom to the middle of Toad Town. If she was going to grow, she prefered to do it where lots of people can see it. Peach then took one bite of the mega mushroom, gulped it down, and waited.
About a minute later, it happened. Peach was growing. She wasn't doubling in size like a super mushroom would. She was getting bigger, very much bigger. She figured that she could be perhaps five times bigger and that's it.
But she kept growing. Finally, it stopped. The Mega Mushroom really meant Mega this time around, as Peach was towering at well over 300 feet tall. She was an absolute giantess. The people of Toad Town stopped to look at their much bigger princess now.
Peach could then feel her stomach growling big time. She was itching for a meal, as you might imagine. Where would she go?
