A deep feeling of guilt was building in Cathrine's tummy. She slipped her flip flops back on and looks around the hall. Nervous that someone may have seen her.
But seen her, do what exactly? Freak out on a few bugs? More importantly, had anyone seen the actual shrinking? Uneasy, Cat make her way out of the school and nervously looked around. It was then she realized she still had the remote in her hand. Cramming it into her purse she tried to relax.
"Maybe if I just take it back to Sally and explain how I feel, she won't mind," Cathrine thought. The guilt kept building up in her. What if people started asking questions? This was terrible. It wasn't suppose to be this way! It was suppose to be fun. Instead of being picked on, she could get revenge! Those girls always tormented her.
Cat was at a standstill. She had only two ideas going through her mind. One was flooding her with guilt and wanted to make her go back to Sally's and return the remote. Another feeling told her that maybe it was just a shock to her system because this was so new. It scared her that she could really do this. So maybe, if she tried the remote on some more people, it would get easier.
Sally was nuts over her inventions too, and she seemed pretty heart set on the group testing these remotes in this manner. If she ran back to Sally, it would just crush her. Cat shut her eyes at her own thoughts at using the word crush in the same thought as her friend. What could she do?
