Matt contemplated his options. However, his mind was made up much quicker than he would have liked.
"HMM, I GUESS HE'S NOT DOWN HERE." Julie said, and started to turn to leave.
Without thinking, Matt bolted at her right shoe. He practically threw himself at the huge piece of footwear. He found that at his minute stature, the material of the shoe created many fine holds for him to utilize. Matt wasn't an athlete, but he wasn't out of shape either. Using the holds, he started to scale the side of Julie's gigantic skate shoe.
"THAT WAS ODD, MATT IS HARDLY EVER AWAY FROM HIS LAB." Julie said as she started to walk out of the basement. Julie had never told Kellie this, but she had always had a bit of a crush on him, in spite of his nerdy tendencies. She had been working up the courage to ask him out for over a year, but every time the opportunity presented itself, she shied away. He spent so much time in the lab that she wasn't sure how he would react.
It presented a pretty big problem to her.
She couldn't know that on a much more microscopic scale, far below her, the object of her affections was having problems that were far more huge than a simple teenage crush.
