Bryan had barely begun sprinting when he saw motes of dust whizzing past him as the tsunami of spring breeze raced across the tabletop. The tiny scientist could feel his heart beating furiously as the image of his body being blasted clear off the table ran through his mind.
This fear was very close to becoming reality as the wind started pushing against Bryan, seemingly trying to knock his legs out from under him like a large dog running into its owner’s leg.Just as he felt he was about to fall and be taken away by the wind current,Bryan made a desperate leap towards the wall of the package and managed to slip behind it as not a moment after,a terrifying howl sounded as the wind blew against the cardboard box, like a beast upset that its prey had managed to escape it.
Bryan rolled over to his back and heaved in relief as he watched Tommy close the door and walk into his kitchen.Realizing that his neighbor was here to deliver his package earlier than he had asked,Bryan stood up and stumbled into a tiny gap on the side of the package he had made specifically for ease of entry and exit once he had shrunken. The flea sized scientist made himself comfortable in the tiny bedroom he had built inside as he heard Tommy make a muffled but excited noise at the 100$ bill he had picked up.
———
Tommy held the beautiful green bill in his faintly shaking hands. The cool skateboard he had been eyeing was as good as his! Bryan’s promise of money had kept him up almost all night and had woken him up far earlier than he would normally get up.All that was left was to deliver this unbelievably tiny box to the post office and he could go on with his day.
“Hmm? Is this the package?” Tommy quirked an eyebrow as he carefully pinched the box between his fingers to lift it to his face.
“Why is this so small? It feels empty.” Tommy was almost tempted to shake the package the size of a box of raisins, but thought against it. Something valuable could be inside, like a computer part. Shrugging his shoulders,Tommy slipped the money into his pocket and carefully held the tiny package in a fist and made his way out the door and towards the post office.
The walk there was fairly uneventful,as was the delivery process.Tommy just confirmed that he was dropping off Bryan’s package and paid the shipping fee.He didn’t know what to tell the confused postman as the worker tried to carefully stamp the package without accidentally flattening it.With that,Tommy’s work was done and he gladly made his way out of the building.

He couldn’t believe it!He was actually doing this!He was mailing himself to meet his nephew at long last!
Bryan shook with excitement at the idea of meeting Zack at this size. There were so much catching up to do,and by this time tomorrow,Bryan would be standing in front of his nephew’s dumbfounded face as he saw how unbelievably tiny his uncle was.All that he had to do now was let the ever reliable postal service carry him to his destination.

Keith was at a complete loss at how he was supposed to deliver such a tiny package. He had barely been working this job for less than a week but he didn’t know if there was a rule or something for deliveries like this. Should he just put this in the back of the delivery truck with all the other packages,or should he keep it safe with him somehow? Deciding to trust his gut instinct, the postman….
