You bounce up and down as the boy walks. Finally, you both reach the Magic Shop and you let out a startled cry. "What's wrong?" the boy asks. "The Magic Shop is closed!" you exclaim. You look up at the boy. You can't tell what his expression is, not because you couldn't see it, but because it's expressionless. "I guess you can step on me now that I screwed up," you say, sadly. You close my eyes, ready to feel pain, but you don't. "I'm not going to step on you," you hear him say. "You're not?" you ask, opening your eyes and looking up at him. "No," he replies, calmly. "We can try again tomorrow." "Yeah," you say, relieved. "But you need a place to stay until the magic shop opens and you can't go back home. Your parents would freak out!" The boy just looks at you. "But," you say, getting an idea. "You can stay at my house. My dad has a huge shed that should be big enough for you to stay in for the night." "I am not staying in a shed," the boy says. "Where else are you gonna stay?" you ask, exasperated. "You can't hang around here and you can't go home. The ony choice is to come with me unless you want to be captured, called a freak, and be put in a zoo for freaks and weirdos and that wouldn't be good." The boy slightly chuckles. You realize how good he looks with a smile. "So, are you coming with me or not?" you ask. The boy nods. "Yeah." You smile. "Let's go!" you start to walk again and the boy follows. "By the way," you say. "What's your name?" "Kouji," he simply states. "I'm(your name)," you say. "I would shake your hand, but...you know." Kouji doesn't reply. By this time, night has fallen. You take a shortcut to avoid anybody that may be outside this time of night. Finally, you reach your dad's shed. You open the door and Kouji goes in and sits down. "My dad is planning to put his old junk in here whenever he finishes working on the new table," you tell him. "Hopefully, we can get you out of here before he or anybody else sees you. If you need anything, don't hesitiate to ask." You turn to leave, but Kouji stops you. "What is it?" you ask. "Thanks," he says. "For helping me." "You're welcome," you reply, smiling warmly. "Good night, Kouji." Then you shut the shed door.
The night air is warm, so you don't have to worry about Kouji being cold.
