Narrowly, you miss avoiding the bear's attention as you run towards the water. You decide out of sheer fear that there is no chance to survive unless you jump. Thinking with pure instinct, you power your legs towards the cliff and simply let yourself drop off of it.
Luckily, there was nothing to break your fall except for the water below. It hurts quite a bit, but you manage to survive the fall into the water. Bobbing at the surface now, you observe a lack of a proper surface to cling onto to get yourself up back up to land. You really have no choice but to be at the mercy of the current and let it take you wherever it pleases. You could enjoy yourself still, despite your smaller stature. You see an opportunity to dive in and observe the local wildlife without scaring it all off. Of course, you could also just aimlessly drift, staying on the somewhat safe surface. Your call.
