Naboo was such a beautiful world, Admiral Zyas Tiers thought. It was two months after the birth of the Galactic Empire, led by Emperor Palentine (spelling?) and Darth Vader. The Emperor had gotten rid of the Two Thousand senators because they were "enemies of the state" or so the Emperor had said. Nobody wanted to argue with the Emperor, a Dark Lord of the Sith.
Admiral Zyas Tiers stood on the bridge of a Star Destoryer. The Empire had only made a handful of these large battle cruisers so far, but Zyas saw that the Empire would make countless of these ships. Since Zyas was commanding it, he got to name the Star Destoryer. He decided to call it "The Lynx" after an animal of his home world. It was nothing like the Lynx that we know. The Lynx that the Star Destoryer had been named after, was a 15-foot tall shaggy monster, much like a Wookie, but a tad stronger. Zyas Tiers was on a mission to Naboo. He had Darth Vader hinmself on board the ship. Vader discovered that his wife--Padme--was buried on Naboo, and he wanted to say goodbye for good. Also, Vader was to pick a governor to run the Naboo sector.
"Inform Lord Vader that we have arrived at Naboo" said Zyas to a junior officer.
"No need for that" came Darth Vader's voice. "I sensed that we were here"
Darth Vader was not a man to tangle with. If you can call Darth Vader a man. To Zyas Tiers, Vader looked like a hybrid of droid and human. Vader was more machine than man, that much was clear. Vader joined Zyas on the main deck and looked at Naboo floating in an endless sea of space.
"Make ready my shuttle" said Darth Vader. "I'll leave at once. Care to join me, Admiral?" If Zyas felt fear, he didn't show it. Zyas said..
