Chapter #3
Erica's Tale
by: Mystikfox
Erica regreted ever listening to that slick-mouthed snake who told her about the rare valuables that dwelled within the mansion on the edge of the woods. Well, it was too late to turn back now, being that she had already scaled the walls and disarmed the security system. As she looked around, something shiney caught her eye. The Ruby Sparrow! So the snake wasn't lying! As she reached out to touch it, a voice from behind her made her jump. "Erica, I knew you'd come."
As she turned around, she saw the same snake furry that had told her about the gem. In his charming tone, the serpendine hissed, "At first, I thought you wouldn't beleive me... but I could've always gotten another meal."
"What?" she glanced at him suspiciously, swishing her fluffy tail. As she saw his naga-like arms pressing a btton on the wall, Erica attempt to leap to safty, but it was too late. Large iron shackles lept out of the ground and pulled the raccoon furry to the ground onto her back. Attempting to move but uttering nothing more than a wiggle, she watched in horror as the snake furry put her foot in his mouth. "Hmm..." he wondered aloud, "I did just eat lunch a few hours ago... maybe I should leave you here until I get hungry?"
