Dreams of Another Life

         Slowly the darkness cracked open, giving way to rays of light and the greens of a lush forest. For a second it all seemed unfamiliar and hazy, like a vivid dream come to life, but something was off. The air seemed humid and heavy, the damp green moss softly tickled, if the images of a city hadn't been implanted deep into the memories that were being conflicted, this could be real.

         Grinding against the tree softly was a whimsical looking fruit that shined brightly, it seemed to beckon a adventurous nature inside. It had the feeling of a off warmth to it's bright skin, but it faded and pulsed up the arm that had touched it.

         A light, almost airy, feeling blurred the memories of a city and gave way to a reality that never belonged to a human in the modern world...
