Chapter #5

Ted and Pete get acquainted

"Well, I still think being fat is great. Hell, I'd love to be a bit bigger myself, or have more fat friends," Ted remarks.

You reply, “Then we should be friends.”

"That would be great! I can show you the town. There's not much to it, but there's a few fun things to do. Since we'll be in the same school, I'll introduce you around. You play any instruments, like any sports?"

"Well, yeah, saxophone and bass."

"Great! We can jam together. And we've got an in-ground pool at our place for hot days. You want to come over for a swim?"

A swim sounds tempting - the A/C in the house hasn't been on that long, and it's still hot. And Ted doesn't seem to mind your fat body. Still, your dad is unpacking the truck. You wonder if you should just go, or offer to help Dad?

You have the following choices:

1. You grab some trunks and head to the pool

*Noteb*
2. You ask your Dad how much more help he needs

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
