The door opened and I saw mum standing there, looking slightly surprised.

"Oh hello." She greeted me, my heart sunk down to my toes, she didn't recognise me. "Why are you wearing my sons clothes?"

"Well... er... you see I'm.. em.. your er... *cough* son..." I ended lamely, still barely noticing the change in my voice, the higher pitch and everything.

"You're a strange one." Mum replied laughing. "Anyways, if you see Bobby tell him to get back soon okay? Thanks." She shut the door on me without a second thought.
