On your last day of school you are shrunk and taken on a vacation you will never forget...
This choice: I'd unshrink you and make you forget about all this.  •  Go Back...
Chapter #3

Who can understand women?

    by: Unknown
"Make me forget?" Her last comment made me idly curious.
"It's part of the counterspell. You can make someone forget the whole shrinking episode, and instill false memories in their minds so that they don't have a time lapse in their memory."
"Well, that sounds resourceful. But why make me forget?"
Katie patted the top of my head with her finger. "You're cute enough Chris but, to be truthful, I find the thought of shrinking other women down to four inches to play with much more...um, stimulating. No offense."
"None taken. I'm glad I could be of assistance."
"Oh, don't worry, Chris, I'll never forget this, even if you will."
There was another bright light white and then...

* * *

The sun was coming in through my bedroom window as I shook my head awake. I had had the weirdest dream, but for some reason, I just couldn't remember what it had been about. Oh, well, summer vacation was starting, and I meant to enjoy every minute before college started.
The oddest thing happened to me all summer, though. I kept on running into this freshman by the name of Kathleen O'Brien, or Katie, as she liked to be called. I would smile at her in passing, she would smile back, then start giggling before she turned away.
Women. Who can understand any of them??!!
