Why's Eggman working as an ice-cream man?

"Okay, Cream," Vanilla said one day. "Since you've been a good girl today and eaten your vegetables, you can go to the ice-cream van!"

"Yay!" Cream said. "Can I buy one for Cheese as well?"

"Yes, you can. Here's some money. Look both ways before crossing the road!"

"Yes, Mom!" Cream opened the door and saw the ice cream van. She walked over to it and knocked on the window. It opened to reveal a man who was rather egg-like, with a wierd moustache. He looked rather like Eggman. The only differences were that he wore a ice-cream man's suit, and was a lot more smilier than usual.

"Hello there, Cream," the Eggman lookalike said.

"How'd you know my name was Cream, sir?"

"Er-" He sweat-dropped. "What ice cream would you like?"

"I'd like a vanilla 99 please!"

"Chao chao!" said Cheese.

"Oh yes, and a cone for Cheese as well."

The Eggman lookalike nodded, and began fixing her ice-cream. When she wasn't looking he grinned evily and poured a strange chemical into the machine. Then he made the vanilla 99.

"There you go! $1,05!" Cream paid and then left. The man watched her go. "Heh, Sonic... this plan will never fail! The chemicals will make Cream grow, and she'll turn evil! Sonic will never stop her!"

However, something happened that Eggman could have never comprehended.

Will
1. Cream be immune to the evil bit, due to having a lot of interaction with Chao?
or
2. Cheese grows as well and turns evil too
