You decide that since you have to go into college anyway, you might as well go and show off while you're there. Before you leave a thought comes into your head. You turn around and manage to grab hold of the wooden creature before he disappears.
"Hey! What are you doing?" he says in a startled voice. "I helped you!"
"Don't worry." you reply. "I only want to ask a question before you go. Grabbing you was the only way I could think of stopping you from leaving."
"That's alright then. What is it you want to know?"
"Is it possible for me to effect other people? Can I make other people grow, like my friends?" you ask eagerly.
"That's up to you." the creature replies. "Would you like to be able to effect them as well?"
You begin to think about it and after a few moments you give your reply and then set out for college.
