Chapter 4: More Freaky Reality

"....you were in an accident some time ago. We had left for a vacation, and, well... at the airport, there was quite a storm. I had asked you to go out to a balcony there and get a picture of the city, but that's when... you were struck with lightning".
Lightning! You were struck with LIGHTNING?!? What in the hell?
Renamon continued. "Not much of your actual body was damaged. It was mostly your mind. Your long-term memories got erased. It's been about 3 months since the accident. Up until then, I've been trying to act like everything was normal. But, now..." Renamon's flabby throat began to shake. She wanted to cry... but thankfully she was as tough as she was on the Digimon anime, so apparently she couldn't force herself to.
Ughhhhhhh.... what a confusing day. Adn since it's your "birthday", it's only gonna get wierder. You begin to wonder if you're EVER gonna be normal again. But for now...
"Baby", you say to Renamon, placing your paw on her shoulder. "Don't blame yourself. Who knew that lightning was gonna hit me? It's cool. Maybe you can help me remember things, too. It'll be alright. Got it?"
Renamon lifted her head. "Oh... okay". Fallowing up was perhaps the loudest stomach growl you've ever heard. "Say", said Renamon, beginning to cheer up. "Are you as starved as I am?" You nod. As a matter of fact, it felt like you hadn't eaten in days.
