After a hearty breakfast, during which Inuyasha had taken several helpings the groups set off once more. They made a stop in a nearby village to gather supplies and with enough food for at least a month headed into the wilderness. They hadn't been walking longer than an hour before Inuyasha was complaining "Geez, can't we take a break already? I'm starving here." The others were reluctant to loose that sort of time but gave in. No one seemed to be particularly hungry save for Inuyasha who helped himself to several portions. Talking amongst themselves the others barely noticed but after three more stops following this one they were becoming more and more frustrated.
"We're never going to get anywhere if we keep stopping like this." Kagome complained at the forth. Inuyasha only shrugged "It's getting dark anyway," He said through a full mouth. Kagome fought back to the urge to complain anymore and went to help the others set up camp. After a large dinner, at least on Inuyasha's part, they went to sleep. On the annoyed insistance of the others Inuyasha kept watch but it wasn't long before his stomach was growling again.
