"swim practice. What an bore! We get chlorine everywhere and just swim stupid old laps forever."

"At least we have something to play with while we're there," reassured Mandy.

"Do you even want to go?" Missy asked. "Why not skip it and have a good time with our new friend?"

"I'm not sure if we have any skips left," Lacy responded.

"Ahh who cares? We're seniors: we can skip whenever we want!" Mandy argued back.
