** Image ID #1607334 Unavailable ** Michelle, I so can feel your frustration in this letter. I am also disgusted with the school system. Here, I have had to literally go to the school and refuse to leave the office until I could talk to the Principal about my daughter. I had to call for weeks, day after day, for the counselor to stop planning for homecoming long enough to return my call. I feel I am doing my part as a parent, but they are sorely lacking in doing their job as a educational facility, at least where my child is concerned. You are right, every child counts! Why don't they understand that? Finally we got a meeting. All teachers were asked to come. Most did. I think it will be an upward turn but it took so much energy on my part to get this ball rolling. I think you are a fantastically strong woman. You amaze me as a woman, parent, and your child's advocate. It is tiring, but you are doing the greatest job. Jackson may never fully understand what you have gone through in his defense and for his betterment, but your other children/family recognize it and will learn from you! OH! This was well written, grammar, punctuation, and spelling were perfect ![]()
