The abrupt change from speaking of family and traditions to the slam into Happy Holidays, needed a smoother transition. This could be done several ways, and I have many ideas on the subject if you wish to discuss this option further. ![]() ![]() I liked the fact that the author chose to address this subject at all. Many shirk from the mere thought of writing about something that may offend someone. When you think on it further, who are we really offending? Those that want to remain politically correct and not address anything religious, or those whose religious belief has become a major holiday celebrated world wide? Which side are we on? Many refuse to take a side, and in so doing are part of the movement which ban traditional ways for the politically correct. An inaction is an action in and of itself. ![]() ![]() Holding my tongue and adding to the fire. This is a very touchy subject for me. I work in retail. A few years ago, it was decided we should answer and address everything as "Happy Holidays". It became tabou to wish someone a "Merry Christmas". Then what were we celebtating and advertising? ~ ![]() ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **
