Welcome to WDC. I hope you will enjoy the time you spend here sharing your work with others. I know I've learned a lot over the past year. It's nice to find a safe place to grow in your craft.

What a powerful, eye opening piece, Well written.

Title: I like how your title for the piece leaves off the word abuse, while in your writing, it is there. You were probably wise to write it that way, I think if you had abuse in the formal title, some readers wouldn't have clicked on it to read.
Description: Your description is simple and to the point.
Contents: This sounded strange, so I hope you take it the way I mean it and not the way it sounds... I love how your piece flows. While, the topic itself is far from my liking, it is obvious you've spent time considering how to give your thoughts as an impassioned plea. It works so well. You make the reader take on a topic that most would like to ignore and sweep under the carpet. If you ignore it, or don't see it- it doesn't happen, is a common attitude.
Thumbs up: "Imagine your child, whether you have one or not, becoming the victim of an abusive relationship. Imagine what your child will endure, both mentally and physically. Imagine your child is the victim of sexual assault. What happens in the future? Will your child continue this cycle?" With this paragraph, you force the reader to think about their own lives. The 'what if factor' is a marvelous move at this point in your piece.

Conventions: none noted.

I absolutely cannot think of anything that would make your writing stronger, or more impassioned.

Please remember, I'm just a writer like you, and always take reviews with a grain of salt. You have to decide what is best for your work and follow your heart.
