This is an absolutely awesome story. I love it. It starts out horrifying and just continues to get worse and worse. This is one of those tales that just doesn't let up. I enjoyed it very much.

I especially like how you think everything is finally going to work out for poor Krista only to find out the truth. The brutality of that truth is just... wow!

The originality of this piece is spot on. I have never read anything even close to it. You do a great job with both atmosphere and characterization. The characters are believably disgusting and sad while the atmosphere is very backwoods threatening, Wrong Turn style. Well done.

I particularly love the ending. I think it is great when the terror turns out to be true all along. Then you add the final dagger twist, proving you can't trust anyone. Bravo.

Overall, I think this is an exceptional story. I really enjoyed it. Thanks so much for sharing it and I look forward to reading more from you in the future. Great job!
