Fantastic poll! Animal cruelty is a very real concern in todays world, and the question of whether writing about it hurts or helps is a valid one. I believe that in some cases it can be harmful, but most of the time helpful, writing about it makes it more publicly acknowledged, and that is one of the keys to getting something done about it.
