![]() ![]() ![]() It is short but gets right to the point. It's not only a poem about writing, but also about how you see the world, and want it to be different. That's quite possibly why you write, and probably the genre you write. You make a declaration with your first two lines, that there will be not hate in your writing, and that of course, does not mean that there might not be violence, just that there will not be hate coming from the pen, from the mind of the author. These are words that carry an agenda, and are often hidden, or declared openly, the poem reminds the reader that this is not your style. Too many people look at the mind as a scary place, where there are depths that have not been explored, and in those places, we may not know what lies there, and thus not understand ourselves. It makes for great fiction, but it can also be frightening. Here you remind us that the mind does not have to be dark, it can merely be a vessel for who we are, and what we think. The mind is a wonderful thing, and it can be quite an adventure to the writer, as you clearly know. I like the subject that it deals with writing, and your personal approach. All said and done, I liked the poem. Review from "Let's help each other grow- Closed" ![]()
