![]() ![]() ![]() I see that you are relatively new to the site (as am I) so I thought I would stop by and welcome you to the site, and read something from your portfolio. While I certainly can appreciate the splendor and the power of nature, it is intriguing that you see natural disasters as something glorious. That isn’t a complaint, it’s just intriguing to see your reasoning, which of course you mentioned to be about balance, and a chance for mankind to unite and become stronger. It certainly is an interesting was to look at it. You capture that glory in the images of nature: rivers, fish, rocks, insects and all those little thing that we don’t otherwise notice but are essential to the well-being of the eco system. The repeating first line echoes the theme, and reminds the reader of the single focused nature of this poem. It is an excellent poem for this time of year, for in Spring, there is a re-birth to nature where winter gives was to the beauty and promise of Spring. Today was a lovely, sunny spring day, and this poem just intensifies the feeling I had while outside today. Spring is about hope, and this poem echoes that, and the reader cannot help but feel it within him, and have it alter how he think and feels, and isn’t that what poetry ought to do? The end result of all this blabbing is: I liked your poem. ![]() Review from "Let's help each other grow- Closed" ![]()
