This is a sad poem and the main emotion is mourning. The rhythm is smooth, which encourages the reader to read this poem aloud. The rhyming pairs emphasize the emotions of the poem. I especially like the choice of farewell and swell.

I found no technical problems.

The last stanza is my favorite because it closed the poem well and I learned the name of the national dance of New Zealand. Write on.
