Introduction: Happy Anniversary, arrals! This review is from SAJ's Porch in hopes that you have a blessed anniversary.

Disclaimer: The following words are my personal opinions and interpretations. These are meant to encourage the writer and his/her readers. Please, read carefully and feel free to use or to disregard any of my comments as you see fit.

This child's imagination has it right, that is about the way to handle his father's alcoholism. He keeps his sense of adventure along with
a keen wisdom that he reveals about himself in the very end. This child represents a hope for this family, even if only for him and his mom.

The father has given up on any kind of life with his family in favor of the booze. His wife needs to confront him and do what is right rather than "walk on eggshells." The irony is that I really don't know why she chooses to deny what is so obvious to her child. Has she given up,
too?

How could both parents do this to such a positively inspirational young child. He carries this poem with his fantastic ideas on how he and his mom should cope. Just as he will carry himself and his mom through this crisis if she will let him, that is if this poem is true. Real feelings on my part say that it is.
