Since I am a preferred author but I am not a moderator, that doesn't show up on my list.
what is the 'that' of which you speak? after a minute of thinking I believe it's either "Preferred authors and higher only" or more likely the unlisted "Moderators and higher only"; may want to specify

It also may be worth noting that even if someone does have a restriction on an item they may not mind having it shared on an external site if asked and be willing to change the restriction some time in the future.
