I think until human beings learn to exterminate this monster called anger, these horrific things continue to happen unabated.
The description the way the child was beaten up perhaps by his own father obsessed and teetering on the brink of madness can move anyone with sensibility.
My first thought is whatever happened to the neighbors. Wasn't it their duty to report abuse to the authorities and stop this inhuman treatment of a child?
The change of positions tells more than what is said. On waking up, his immediate reaction is to beat the child black and blue. Difficult to believe these things taking place in the developed world.
