This diamond shaped poem well explicates the two sides of pride. False pride and that which stands for self esteem.
The cut off line neatly comes through. Pretty symmetrical in form and content.
Many misunderstand the underlying rhythms of pride, often mistaking one for the other. Of course, attitudes give away on which side a person is.
Most of the description through apt adjectives is praise worthy and prompts me to think about them.
Imagery is associated with the persons possessing the qualities brought out here. I mean I can see the person with domineering and arrogant attitude and the other pitched against is the one with humility and self esteem.
Words fit the shape like they are meant for it.
It flows well.
