Hi Jaya and good afternoon. I'm Jessica and I'll be reviewing Chapter 1 of "Last Day of the Bully."

First Impressions:
This is a very good start for a chapter. When I was your age, I was bullied too. I thought you did a good job so far of capturing the feelings of being left out of a party or other activity.

Overall Thoughts:
Who's Salmon though? Is he actually a salmon or is it some other animal that is pink like a salmon? I would introduce Salmon some more. Maybe you should describe Carl and Steve some more as well. Is Carl a Calico cat or what colour is he? Is Steve a Corgi or what colour? I would also suggest adding why Steve was so protective of Carl and what their day at school or in town is like so that way other kids can see that these characters are just like them. Also, "townsmen" should be one word. You're doing great so far!

Final Thoughts:
